Entourage Metals recently entered into an agreement with Barrick to explore properties next to and along trend of the world-class Hemlo Gold Deposit.
The eastern half of the Hemlo greenstone belt is host to the Hemlo gold deposits (25 Moz), which was discovered in 1981. In addition, the eastern half of Hemlo’s greenstone belt is a group of rocks extending for 60 kilometres. These rocks are similar to other prolific greenstone belts in Canada, Australia and Africa that host multiple gold mines.
The Hemlo mines have already produced 20.3 Moz of gold, however, in contrast to other well explored greenstone belts the Hemlo gold deposit is the only substantial gold deposit found to date.
Entourage Metals’ technical and local experience is being applied to the hunt for the next major gold deposit in the Hemlo belt.
