Full Metal Minerals (TSX-V:FMM) is a junior mineral exploration company with a focus on base and precious metal discovery in Alaska. In addition to recent high-grade results from both Pyramid and Rolling Thunder properties, Full Metal Minerals has also recently expanded the land package at the Circle Project site.

As a respected project generator, Full Metal Minerals currently has several joint venture agreements including Anglo American/Northern Dynasty Minerals and Antofagasta Minerals as well as several mining exploration companies.

Full Metal Minerals is currently exploring throughout Alaska with an emphasis of Native-owned partnerships. This region represents a classic island-arc volcanic setting that has received limited modern mineral exploration which is prospective for both epithermal gold, and porphyry copper-gold mineralized systems.

Epithermal and porphyry-type deposits are found near oceanic plate subduction zones. The Aleutian Islands and the Alaska Peninsula represent an island arc formed by the Pacific Ocean plate diving under the North American plate.

This is significant because:

  • This is the only island arc environment in the Pacific “Ring of Fire” without a major mine in production (due to lack of mineral exploration)
  • A number of historic deposits and mines in the area prove the existence of epithermal and porphyry-style mineralization
  • These deposits provide a geological template for new mineral discoveries as well as the potential for expansion
